About Us
Wicked Wagz is a home-based fully insured, professional pet grooming salon. We strive to make sure every pet is treated like a star! The salon is located in a comfortable and quiet environment that is not "factory grooming." The salon shares the premises with the owner's residence, creating a smaller carbon footprint and allowing more focus on quality and safety, as opposed to quantity.
We groom dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, and horses. If you don't see your pet on the list please call. We can probably do something for you!
The two partners of Wicked Wagz have a combined 55+ years of experience with show handling, veterinary, behavior, and grooming. Both groomers, having had experience in corporate pet grooming, took what they learned from these businesses and resolved to provide a more calm, safe, and personal environment for you and your pets.
We strive to make every grooming experience a positive one. We monitor the pets at all times during the grooming process and provide them with comfortable resting areas whenever they require a break or are waiting to be picked up. We also have quiet rooms for pets who are easily overstimulated.
Our first priority is always safety. Anyone who works at Wicked Wagz is trained in basic animal CPR and is trained to recognize the signs of excessive stress in animals. If your pet is experiencing these signs at any point during the grooming process, the groom will be discontinued. Having pets of our own, we are NOT willing to risk your pets health and safety simply to make a profit. Wicked Wagz also maintains a working relationship with a veterinarian, so if your pet is ever in need of veterinary services, help is very close by.
Wicked Wagz is an active community partner, focusing on inclusion of those with disabilities as well as our community's youth. We work with multiple organizations that have similar goals and facilitate acceptance.
All pets must be brought in on a leash or in a carrier. If you do not have one, please ask to borrow one of ours before unloading your pet.
Because we are dedicated to the health and safety of our clients and your pets, we do require that all pets be current on their vaccinations. Please see the list below for required vaccinations for your type of pet.
